Gunder Knudsen Gaupaas: He was born March 8, 1816 by parents Knud Johannesen Gaupaas, b. ca 1773 and Kirsten Jonsdatter from Søndre Breche, b. ca 1781.
Knud and Kirsten married January 3, 1803 and both in 1835 and 1845 they lived on Gaupaas.
In 1835 the family owned 3 cows and 4 sheep and in 1845, 4 cows 7 sheep and 1 pig.
Gaupåsen is a small cottager's farm under the large farm Frogner in Gjerpen.
