Solve Engebretsen Rosvald:  He was born 1789 on the farm Rosvald in Gjerpen by parents Engebret Solvesen (b. 1742 and
died 1806) and Giøran Sondresdatter. He was baptised June 10 in Gjerpen church. He married Karen Gundersdatter, who 
died 48 years old, May 2, 1839. They had the following children:
    Engebret                b. 1816 on Rosvald and died June 22, 1885. He had emigrated in 1843 and is mentioned there.
    Gunder                   b. 1817 on Rosvald and married in America in 1845 to Maria Jacobsdatter Dyrendal. He died April 19, 1897.
                                                  He emigrated with his parents in 1845.
    Halvor                    b. 1819
    Maren Kirstine     b. 1821
    Halvor                    b. 1823 and died November 6, 1904. He emigrated in 1844 and is mentioned there.
    Anne                      b. 1825 and died January 21, 1843.

Karen Gundersdatter died and Solve married October 8, 1840 to Marthe Alfsdatter Krageto, with whom he emigrated. She
was born in 1803 on the farm Krageto in Gjerpen by parents Alf Nielsen Krageto-ødegaarden and Margit Olsdatter.
Solve Engebretsen died July 11, 1858
