Hans Andreas  Larsen Aabye: He was born on the farm Meen in Gjerpen July 4, 1824. His parents were Lars Larsen Aabye and
Kirsten Larsdatter, who emigrated in 1846 on the vessel "Bowditch"
Hans Andreas emigrated to Milwaukee, but left in 1844 to work in the lead-mines of Illinois. He moved in 1847 to Deerfield Township
in Dane County in Wisconsin and married December 13, 1847 Helge Halvorsdatter, who had come from Lårdal in Telemark, where
she was born August 12, 1826 
They had the following children:

Hans Andreas died December 9, 1895.
