Thomas Eliassen Fjære:
Thomas is born around 1812, probably on the small farm Lillefjære in Solum. His
father was Elias Danielsen, born ca 1771 (He
was a widow in 1801), who was a crofter on Lillefjære under
the farm Fjære in Solum parish. Thomas had at
least a half-brother Daniel and a half-sister Anne. These two
still lived on Lillefjære in 1865. THomas
married June 2nd, 1842 Berthe Andrea Nielsdatter Tyskland under
Strømdal from Gjerpen. She was born 1818, and
her parents were Niels Jacobsen Strømdal(1772-1820) and Anne Larsdatter Meen
(1777-1839). Thomas and Berthe Andrea had at least one daughter Kirsten Maria, born
January 26th, 1844.
