Marthe Marie Halvorsdatter Fossum:  She was born Dec 27, 1820 on a place under the farm Fossum in Gjerpen parish. Her parents
were Halvor Christiansen Fossum and Maria Sigvardsdatter. She married Hans Steensen Fossen from Eker (emigrated 1843). Hans was 
the son of Steen Mikelsen Fossen and Kirsti Nielsdatter and born in Eker parish, Buskerud Aug 12, 1819.
They had the following children:

	Andrew                            b. 1852 (?)
	Henrik                               b. Nov 12, 1853
	Karen                                b. 1856 (?)
	Martin                               b. 1858 (?)

	Anne                                  b. 1862 (?)
Hans died 1896 and Marthe in 1892. They are both buried in Ashippun Episcopal Cemetery (St. Paul's)
